It would make life much easier if WHM had an "expiry date" column in "List Accounts". It's a mess trying to keep track of who's account is expired.

    And Perhaps Following Feature Too:

    • Provision Of Adding Grace Period
    • Notification To Account Owner
    • Auto Suspension Of Account

If the above is not already there.

This would make life a bit easier managing accounts

Those are good additions as well. I hope the powers to be see this and act upon it for a future release.

Unfortunately they only see the Bugzilla for features that they think are going to be good enough :(

Problem is, cpanel isn't an accounting system. It's a server control system. There are addon programs to handle the accounting end of things.

Bandwidth Accounting on Per Account basis would also fall under "Accounting System" but still is there in cPanel.

    :)

    Go on, have a guess
As Anup said, log such ideas in the cPanel bugzilla. You can always post the link to the entry here and ask people who think it is a good idea to vote for it.

As for the forums, they're for cPanel server administrators to help each other out with problems and questions (oh, and cPanel users just recently). Bug reports and enhancements requests should be put through the appropriate channel.

It's a fine line between what cpanel should and shouldn't do. ;)

Doesn't really matter to me where the line is because I have my own extras anyway. For me, it's just a base system to work from. :)

Hey squirrel, what are these extras you speak of? I would like to try them out.

Some are in my custom scripts area. (see my sig)

A few others will go public when I have time to modify them, and I have some that won't go public.

I don't have anything added as far as billing though. For that I just use an accounting program on my computer. I've thought about creating a system on my server so it can be automated, but my list of "To Do" stuff is too long now. ;)
