    I have a delima here.
I create an account then goto the domain the cpanel info shows up when I goto the url.

Then I upload website to through ftp in the public_html folder and my default is index.php for home page. Now I refresh page and cpanel info is still there not the site. But if I goto the openbase_dir htt://IPaddress/~user the site is there.

How do I fix this domain issue?
It is like it is not pointing to the user directory for the domains.

    1. Make sure the DNS settings are correctly pointing to the right IP address.
    2. Ensure the users /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf VirtualHost directives are all correct.

DNS has to be working right cause it does show the domain when I goto it but it puts up the default cpanel template. I uploaded the site and went to the url and same template. But if I goto http://IPAddress/~user it works fine with the site. So how can it be a dns issue. All my dns settings are correct. It has to be somewhere else.

Any one have a an idea what it can be? Can I remove apache and then reinstall it? I am at a loss here. I am unsure what is causing the error.

It sounds like the domain is pointing to the wrong IP. Check via dnsreport.com or dnsstuff.com.

Failing that, paste the virtual host entry your /var/named/domain.com.db file and the IP it should be pointing to.
