Is there any option for login pass through? I want to have clients login to my billing system, and then click a link to login to cPanel without forcing them to login again.
I know that I can use the passtrap to keep track of their login info that way, but is there some sort of master hash that I can use to log them into their account without actually using their login info?

For a user to be logged into cPanel, a username and password must be used. However, you can use the following URL to prevent the user from being prompted for a username/password when logging into cPanel:

    http://SERVER:2082/login?user=Username&pass=Password

Where Username and Password are the cPanel user's username and password and SERVER is your server's hostname, IP or domain of any account hosted on that server.

Ok, thanks for the response. I was hoping to not need to keep track of the user/pass for them.

    re cpanel login

hi all, new to posting here, but an old hand at this stuff.

What billing system? Reason I ask, is if WHMCS, there are a couple of great hacks on the WHMCS forum that allow exactly what you have requested. No requirement to manage paswoords, just a (https: if you want it) button.
