Hi
I have notice a couple of things with account transfers and restoration of backups.
1. I have found that mysql databases don't seem to get restored. I can see the sql files in the backup and the user is created. Cpanel tells me it has done it but nothing there. I end up having to do it manually. I am using trustix. Has anyone else experienced this?
2. When restoring an account to a server it recreates the DNS zone. This wipes out any custom change the user has. I think there could be the option to not overwrite DNS zones with a checkbox. The only way I can see to get around this currently is to backup all the zones and put them backup afterwards unless the main IP address has changed in which case a search and replace would be needed too. Has anyone else have this problems/agree?
