Accounts moved to different partition - stats not being displayed

Hello,

We had a customer who requested the accounts to be moved to a different partition due to low disk space. We've moved the accounts to a separate partition mounted under /backups. The accounts were moved from the /home partition to /backups and then symlinked and are displaying fine. The problem is that the usage stats got borked. As such, going to WHm -> List accounts will show the disk used as 0 M. Moreover, logging into the cPanel account itself I am able to see 0 M of disk space usage and 0 monthly bandwidth transfer. I ran /scripts/fixquotas however, this didn't help. Does anyone have any idea what needs to be done to fix the issue ? I suspect the cPanel quota / usage scripts fail to work due to the accounts being symlinks instead of regular folders however, I'm wondering what's the solution for this problem. Thanks in advance !

Can you check the mount and fstab to see if that partition has quotas enabled on it?

Code:
mount
cat /etc/fstab
You should see something like usrquota listed for the partition if it does have quotas enabled. If it does not, you'll have to revise /etc/fstab (please make a backup copy of it first) to enable quotas on that partition.

Hello Tristan,

Thank you for your reply. Indeed, quotas aren't enabled for the /backups partition. We'll need to wait for confirmation on when to reboot the server in order to enable quotas for that partition. I'll update this thread if that doesn't fix the issue. Thanks.
