    Hello,

I have updated my WHM/cPanel to v70.0.12 from v68.0.29. Now please let me know how can i enable MySQL 5.7 and activate it ? I am still seeing MariaDB as my default database after updating WHM/cPanel to v70.0.12.

Also, if I enable MySQL 5.7, can i migrate cPanels from another server which is running v68.0.29?

    Thank you for your time.

    Hello,

Upgrades to MySQL 5.7 are possible via "WHM >> MySQL/MariaDB Upgrade", and yes you can transfer accounts from a server using cPanel version 68 to a server using cPanel version 70 and MySQL 5.7. However, you can't convert from MariaDB to MySQL. This is noted at:

MySQL or MariaDB Upgrade - Version 70 Documentation - cPanel Documentation

    Thank you.
