If I know the accesshash of a remote server, is there a way to setup dns clustering with sync(or any other role) role from the commandline? I know creating the files in /var/cpanel/cluster/root/config with the ip ip-dnsrole will work .But is there a better way ?

    Hello,

There's not an alternate method of setting up a DNS cluster via the command line. I encourage you to open a feature request if you'd like to see WHM API 1 functions added for this purpose:

    Thank you.

The existence of the following file determines whether clustering is enabled on the system:

    Code:
    /var/cpanel/useclusteringdns
Thus, if you wanted to enable clustering, you'd run the following command:

    Code:
    touch /var/cpanel/useclusteringdns
    Thank you.
