Add account with pre existing DNS Zone Record

So we have just started working with cPanel and started transferring DNS records over however now that we are starting to move accounts over we are running into problems.

Since the DNS record already exists it will not allow us to create an account. Is there anyway to get around this? This seems like a really silly issue however it is blocking the path to the finish line. Any suggestions? At this point we are thinking about bringing another cPanel instance up and not adding it to the cluster. Then when we are finished adding accounts we can add it to the cluster and merge the records.

Hello :)

Are you attempting to create new accounts or transfer existing accounts from other cPanel servers? You will need to delete the DNS Zone before creating the new accounts, or select the following option when creating them:

"Overwrite any existing DNS zones for the account."

Thank you.

i am trying to create a new account. Where is the option to "Overwrite any existing DNS zones for the account."?

Never mind I see it. I'm surprised I missed that.

For any of you reading this, the "Overwrite any existing DNS zones for the account." is in the create account screen near the bottom near the nameservers.

Thanks again.
