How can I add a perl script with an Icon to C panel for me and all of my users? Thanks

lets say you have a sciprt like a perl guestbook or a php script you want to add to cpanel. How would you add the script and the icon to cpanel so that a client can just click the icon for the perl script to be installed like wioth the other cgi script alreayd in cpanel.

(How this is what you were asking, if not sorry)

I think the answer is that you would create a directory in the

frontend/yourthemename/ directory then just place an icon in the apporpriate cpanel page and lick it to the scripts main page?

since all the cpanel pages are basiclly html pages?

is this correct ? (askin all you cpanel pros)

I have added a few additional icons in my customers cpanels and it works great, however, you should keep a backup of the code you use as once you update cPanel, changes/mods are lost which can become a pain in the a*s. HTH!
