Add name field when creating or managing cPanel email accounts

Hi All,

I am looking for a way to define a Users Name as well as an account name when creating email accounts. As i am sure you are all aware, the account name used for an email address doesn't always match the users actual name.


Does anyone know how to do this?

Could you provide some more information on the specific name you are attempting to define? For instance, is this the name configured in the individual webmail applications (e.g. John Doe)?

You are correct, i want to be able to say [email protected] belongs to John Doe.

There are no native features that will automatically configure the name for email or webmail applications when creating an email account in cPanel. I encourage you to open a feature request if you want this functionality included:
