    Hi,

Currently I have a nice webserver and DNSONLY cluster setup and all is well:

    VPS#1 - mycompany.com - cpanel/whm/ns1/webserver
    VPS#2 - ns2.mycompany.com - cpanel/DNSONLY/ns2 -- no websites

Due to resources on the first VPS, I'm looking to add a second cPanel/WHM VPS to this group. I would call it, for example, web2.mycompany.com (so it would be VPS#3).

    1) What is the best way to set this up? It is as simple as adding A records at mycompany.com for "web2" (which is VPS#3) and setting the nameservers on VPS#3 (web2.) to the mycompany.com ns1 and ns2?

    2) Or is it a better idea to setup a totally different and not connected webserver vps so that VPS#3 webserver would be: mycompany2.com?

    Thank you!

the best scheme is to have 2 dns only servers which gives possibility to link as many server as you wish.
