Add something more modern than AWStats/Webalizer/Analog?

Analog last release was ~10 years ago. There are a few choices out there, however, we've had a good experience using GoAccess, is an open source real-time web log analyzer and interactive viewer. It can export data to HTML. JSON, CSV and to a terminal. Runs pretty fast for the amount of logs we parse.

piwik seems to be another choice, though it lacks goaccess' outputting options and speed. It seems it also depends on mysql.

I'd agree, would be really nice to get some updates on the GUI for analytics built in to cpanel. buuuut, difficult to focus the work time on cosmetics / analytics when there's so many more integral upgrades and enhancements of importance! haha. Perhaps a good intern job or something?
