Adding account changes file permissions!

When I add an account the file permissions of named.conf are set to 640 and BIND can't then open the file and fails on the next restart.

So, is 640 correct? I need to chmod 644 named.conf for BIND to be able to load. :confused:

Using Fedora Core 6
