I am trying to add a nameserver into WHM that is already registered with an ip pointing to Alabanza. When I try to add it, WHM picks up the existing ip address and will not let me add the nameserver.

Is there anyway to manually add the nameserver with an ip on the WHM server and then change the ip at my registrar when i'm ready to switch it on?

    Thanks.
    :(

add the namesever to your edit set up in WHM just dont asign an ip or A record

pico /etc/nameserverips and add it there with the ip you want to use

and add the a entries in your DNS in WHM manually (A record)
