I have 2 webservers that are in a cluster with 2 dns servers, ns1 and ns2 which are running cPanel DNS Only.

I'd like to add a custom zone file to ns1 and ns2 which I'm able to do by creating the zone file and adding it to the external and network views in /etc/named.conf

What I'd like to know is, how can I prevent cPanel from removing my custom zones when it rebuilds the bind configs and/or updates?

Is cPanel actually removing your custom zones? I've never had this issue before.
