Hello, I would like to add a couple of extra default filenames (to the usual index.html, index.php ....)

I can't see any option for this in cpanel -- can someone help me out here?

    Edit /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf file with your favourite editor. Look for &DirectoryIndex& followed by a bunch of filenames (index.html index.wml index.cgi index.shtml index.jsp index.js index.jp index.php4 index.php3 index.php index.phtml index.htm default.htm default.html home.htm being pretty much the default, if I'm not mistaken).

If it's only for a folder/site, you can edit the .htaccess file instead.

Thank you both for your assistance. I only have Cpanel and WHM access to the machine, so I can't edit /usr/local ...

I will edit the .htaccess file -- thanks :D

Even though I have "index.jsp" in my DirectoryIndex in the httpd.conf file, it is still not resolving index.jsp when you access a directory that it is in. Any ideas?
