Adding display-name to an email address

Is there a way to add a display-name to email addresses? I'd love to be able to have, for example "Bob" <[email protected]>

At the moment it seems there's nothing beyond a strict <[email protected]> which defaults to "<[email protected]>" <[email protected]> or "codegod" <[email protected]> or worse "" <[email protected]>, depending on the receiving application/webmail system.

There doesn't appear to be any fields to achieve this in the "Create An Email Account" screen (or elsewhere!)
