I have some questions regarding "Addon Domain"

If a user or I as Administrator add a new domain than there is added a subdomain too.

    Example: Main Domain ist test.com
    1. Add Doman with "Addon Domain" test1.com
--> There is automatically added test1.test.com subdomain

I suppose thats not a bug. Right?

    Than:

    I can't create an ftp-account something like user@test1.com!
it's only possible to create user@test.com and set as a directory "/public_html/test1.com".

I suppose it isn't possible to create user@test1.com because test1.com isnt the main domain.

So if I sell a webhosting Paket with 1 domain and with the abbility to add more domains to the same account, i create logically an "adoon domain" in the users account.

But the ftp-settings mentioned above can confuse the customer with a result of more support tickets and less usuability for customers.

Is there a possibility to disenable of automaticallay creation of subdomains?
Is there another way to handle my Issue?

Another Issue with creating Mail accounts:

If a customer will create a new Mail Account
(main domain test.com, and he have 2 "addon domains" test1.com and test2.com),
    there ist a choise of
    ....@test.com
    ....@test1.com
    ....@test1.test.com
    ....@test2.com
    ....@test2.test.com

    See Screenshot.

This confuses me a little bit after working long time with plesk.

I hope anybody can help me.

    Thanks for reading.

Yes, if you add the add-on domain then it will automatically create the subdomain of the add-on domain. Moreover, it is not possible to disable the creation of the subdomains in the cPanel account.

You cannot sell the webhosting packet using this add-on feature. If you would like to sell the webhosting package then you will have to go for the reseller account.

There will be a choice of domain names while creating a mail account. You can create the email account with the specific domain or add-on domain or subdomain.
