I have a user called "whatever" who has the homedir /home/whatever.
The user needs a real big FTP space, thus I have to add a new partition just for him (on a SATA drive, rather then a SAS drive).

I placed the new partition in fstab:
    /dev/xvda6 /home/whatever/ftp ext3 defaults,usrquota,noatime 0 2

I can mount it with no problems, the user can read/write it, us it.
My only problem is that this partition is not counted in the quota.

What is the correct way to make this partition count in "whatever" user's total quota?

    Thank you,
