Adding Fantastico to your server - help

    1. Log in via WHM and create a cPanel account to be used as your Fantastico
administration account. This will be the only account that can add/remove features
for Fantastico, so be sure that you set the proper administrator. You cannot use
the usernames of root, admin, or administrator. The account you create must have at
least 200MB of disk space free.

    2. Login as root via SSH and execute:
    cd /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x
    chown -R : fantastico
(Replace each "" with the username of the cPanel account you created in step one
that will function as the Fantastico administrator. Please note the ":" between the
    instances of .)

    3. Next you will need to create symbolic links to the skins in cPanel so the
functions of Fantastico may be accessed.
    (via SSH)
    cd /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x2
    ln -s /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x/fantastico
    cd /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/bluelagoon
    ln -s /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x/fantastico
    cd /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/monsoon
    ln -s /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x/fantastico

    Repeat for any other skins

    4. Log back in as your cPanel user into their cPanel interface. In the address bar
in your browser window, replace "index.html" and the end of the address with
"fantastico/admin/decoder.php" and hit enter. This will step you through the
Fantastico install and setup process. Just follow the directions.

While logged on as root, you would use

    chown -R fantasi.fantasi /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x/fantastico

Assuming of course your fantastico was installed under the X skin.

You should use the Netenberg forums for more information.
