    Hi All,

I'm trying to use the INTO OUTFILE mysql command while logged on as a user created by cPanel. The user has all the privileges that cPanel grants SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE etc.

However, my INTO OUTFILE command fails with SQL error 1045:access denied for user.

I did some research and realised that the user must have FILE permissions in order to use this command and it can only be given Globally.

According to the creator of the system, the only users are the ones created by cPanel (which do not have permission to give themselves FILE permissions :) ).

So my question is: How to I grant FILE permissions for my cPanel-created user.

    Many Thanks! :)
