Adding FTP Account

    Currently using the vertex skin, I reaized when adding an FTP account there is no way I can specify what folder they will have access to. How else can i do this now that its not there?

    Or simply edit the corresponding page by comparing it with the Xskin theme page. There are more features missing in Vertex and I'm editing all pages by looking at the source of Xskin. Quite simple.

    If you want to do it manually, take a look in /etc/proftpd/ Each account name has a file there. In each file is the details of each ftp user, password, & directory specified.

    I have manually overridden settings there as well as added ftp accounts for server (unix)usernames who aren't c-panel accounts with domains.

    As I always caution, make a spare copy of the original file in case you wreck it.
