I know that editing the main index page for a specific theme can allow for adding a link to the CPanel interface, but is there any way I can add code to the main index file to link to a URL? I am trying to make an installer scripts for the script I just made for CPanel and was wondering if there was some easier way to add a new icon to the CPanel interface to link to the new app.

Let me know if I need to clarify what I'm trying to do.

The best way to do this is not to edit the theme to add an icon, but rather to use the cPanel Plug-in infrastructure to add a link. It's really a lot easier than it sounds. I already have a post for this here: http://forums.cpanel.net/showpost.php?p=348747&postcount=24
