This weekend i went ahead and added a second ethernet card to our cpanel server so i could keep our two IP blocks on different ports.

However when i add an IP range in WHM it always ads it to eth0 even when i manually configure eth1 with a static IP on the new range.

Am i missing something or am i trying to push the envelope?

    thanks

Well you should only need two ethernet cards if your ip allocations are on different subnets.

I'm not sure if cPanel can handle this. You may want to simply ask your host for a continuous allocation.
