    Hello,
cPanel now creates a self signed certificate automatically for new users, which is great. My issue is now I have to retroactively give self signed certificates to the other 200 users that existed on my cPanel install. Is there a script or any other automated way to create and give self signed certificates to the other users on my cPanel install?

    Hello,

Do you have root access to the server? If so, have you considered using the AutoSSL feature in "WHM >> Manage AutoSSL"? This will actually install signed SSL certificates to all domain names.

    Thank you.

I do have access, but would rather use the default self signed certificates rather than enabling AutoSSL for all users.

    Hello,

You'd need to generate the CSR/Key and then install the self-signed certificate for each domain name. For instance, from WHM, you'd use the following options:

"WHM Home » SSL/TLS » Generate an SSL Certificate and Signing Request"
"WHM Home » SSL/TLS » Install an SSL Certificate on a Domain"

Is there a particular reason you prefer not to use the AutoSSL feature?

    Thank you.
