Adding new ip on the server not to whm

Hello

I need to add an ip to the server that is going to be used for other services and not for whm/cpanel usage. Whm/cpanel should not collect this ip and setup in its system. Can anyone help suggest on how to do it. If i just added to the interface will cpanel try to configure it for itself?

Hey there! I'm not entirely sure what you mean about having WHM not "collect this IP" - can you get me more details on that?

If there is an IP on the server, it will show up somewhere in the WHM interface as we just read that data from the operating system.
