    hello,

My cpanel is running out of space on my partition /home. I want to add another disk, something like /home2
cpanel can be configured to keep creating accounts on a disk or partition eg /home2?

    Thank you!

You can add a new hard drive, mount it as /home2, and edit the following setting in Main >> Server Configuration >> Basic cPanel & WHM Setup: Enter the location where you wish for new users’ home directories to be created.

If you do not edit this setting, then new accounts will be created on the partition matching the home directory prefix (the value in Additional home directories matching the following value will also be used for new home directory creations) that has the most free space at account creation time.

I recommend the following section of our documentation:

    Basic cPanel & WHM Setup

You or your data center will need to format and mount the hard drive. Formatting and mounting new hard drives is beyond our support staff's scope of support.
