    1) Does anyone know where I should upload sound files such as (wav,mp3 or mid)? I have been uploading them in the public_html section.

    2) What code(s) do I need to use to have sound play automatically when you log into my html page ?

    I'm really stuck on this one!

    You can upload the file anywhere withing the public_html folder or subfolder. Just have to be sure to have the correct path and filename to the sound in the EMBED tag.

    Click here for more detailed information. ;)

    I've tried that site and I had no luck. I tried using wav files, mid files & mp3 files, and nothing. I just want to know where is the correct place to upload the sound files ? Thanks!

    You tried google and no luck. Wow, thats the first time I have heard of that. Well, there is no specific place you HAVE to place sound files. You can put them anywhere within your webroot. It is good common practice to create a subdirectory and place all sound files in there. This way you do not have too many files in your webroot.

    Anyways, Here is what I would do if I were you....

    1. create a folder within your public_html folder named sounds.
    2. Upload your sound files to the new folder named sounds. You can upload .mid, .wav, or .mp3 files there.
    3. Pick one of the files to use. Remember the filename.
    4. Create a file with the following HTML in it:
    Code:
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Sound Test Page</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <embed src="sounds/FILENAME.EXT" loop=true autoplay=true width=145 height=60></embed>
    </body>
    </html>
    Where it says FILENAME.EXT, you will replace with the filename you picked earlier.
    6. Save file to your public_html folder with the name soundtest.html
    7. Browse to the file using your web browser. http://www.yourdomain.com/soundtest.html

    Good luck.

    Background music or Embed should work just fine.
