Is it possible to add another FTP account that will have same access as the main FTP account (IE: have access to whole account and not just one folder) ?

    Via cpanel or WHM?
    No.

You would need to configure this by hand.... with proftpd it isn't going to work very well whatever you try, because of how the ftp server handles file permissions.

Also in past experience when you give multiple users access to the root dir of a shared site with full permissions, it is an insane headache that almost always results with people wanting to kill each other and/or you :p

    How do we do that?

If i manually edit /etc/proftp/username and passwd.vhosts everytime there is a new account added to the machine or syncronize ftp passwords the accounts get changed to something that i do not want?? It changes to /home/username/public_html/accountname instead of being left alone as /home/username

    Help!

One reason _not_ to do this

If you have suexec on this might be a very very bad idea ;)
