addon domain how to make it the main domain inside cpanel?

I have a domain and an addon domain hosted in my cpanel.

I have moved my main domain to another host. Now I need to make the addon domain
the main domain as I want the addon domain stay with present host

How to do this?

You contact your hosting provider and ask them to do the change.

It is a VPS , unmanaged . Thanks for your suggestion but I need to do it myself and it should be pretty easy?
