    Addon domain without subdomain

    Hi,

I need a solution on how to create an addon domain in Cpanel, but no subdomain to it.

Anyone know how to do this, please?

Nope. Addon domains use the subdomain system.

I am worried if I drop the main domain, the addon domain will became unusable too, right?

    what this means?

Try this. If main domain is closed then automatically addon domain will also be terminated. You will have to host that in a new server.

If addon domans are not listing in the cpanel do the following.
    cd /var/cpanel/users/
    vi username
    delete the entry like DNSX=addondomain.com
    restart cpanel
    Add domain through the cpanel

    This is not fear :(

I am a user, not admin, can't do that

CPanel seems to be great, but in fact, I think it is horribly orginized and programmed :(
I rather prefer a normal hosting without those CPanel magics
