Why when i create an addon domain, does it also create a sub domain?

So if i want to give a client 5 addon domains, i have to increase there sub domains by 5 aswell.....

Is this right? or is it a problem i am having only?

Yes uit has to create a subdomain in oder for it to function. It has to know what subdirectory to put the file and it has to have the ability to requier a password to access that directory.

The problem I am having is my Cpanel is not creating my addon domain....it creates the subdirectory / subdomain but refuses to create teh addons....ie the DNS entries

I am going to post a thread specific to this.
