I have two addon domains that have been working for a few years but stopped today. They can't even be pinged.
The main domain is displaying ok.
I see both domains in the /etc/userdatadomains and they appear to configured correctly.
The settings in the "addon domains" screen are:
Main domain: "example.com"
Addon #1 "domainexample-1.com"
Document root: "/public_html/domainexample-1"
Subdomain: "domainexample-1"
Redirect to: "Not redirected"

Addon #2 "domainexample-2.com"
Document root: "/public_html/domainexample-2"
Subdomain: "domainexample-2"
Redirect to: "Not redirected"

I can view a site by going to http://example.com/domainexample1

I removed one addon and the re-added it, still not working
Other addon domains for other websites on this server work correctly.

Where else can I look to track this down?

Thanks for any help,
MN

Thanks for the site referral, it looks like a great tool, did point out some issues in dns.
Will have to wait for propagation to see if it is fixed.

I am assuming that it is DNS propagation. It has been over 6 hours now still can't ping the
domains.

Hello there, @mauinet,

As other members have mentioned, if the domain is not responding to ping it is likely a DNS issue, either in the DNS configuration itself or in the registrar settings. I would not expect the addon configuration to have an affect on that behavior.

If you are still having issues with this it may be best to open a ticket with our support team at tickets.cpanel.net so we can check the DNS settings and make sure things are working properly on the machine itself.
