Advanced Zone Editor & Simple Zone Editor

FROM THIS THREAD: No details in new zone editor if advanced zone editor not enabled

These features were supposed to have been merged.

I would like more information on removing the two deprecated Zone Editors and use ONLY the new Zone Editor but unless I have the deprecated features enabled, I only see MX records in the new Zone Editor. In the "Feature lists" there is no privilege for the Zone Editor, only for the Advanced and Simple varieties.

Hello,

The removal of the "Simple Zone Editor" and "Advanced Zone Editor" options in the cPanel UI is tentatively planned for cPanel version 72. This is documented at:

cPanel Deprecation Plan - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation

It's not possible to remove the "Advanced Zone Editor" feature from the cPanel UI without also disabling the advanced zone editing privileges for the "Zone Editor" option until such time.
