Hi.. Well Aside from having the worst datacenter in the world I have another problem. They did a reinstall on my server and apparently ran the script to install cpanel and say it is installed but I cannot connect to it. I am not really sure.... so he told me to run /home/cpins/sh latest... I did this... it seemed like everything installed fine. But when I go to https://xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:2087, 2083, 2082, 2086 whatever it times out... If I got to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx it brings up the normal cpanel page saying theres no site configured there... My question is what would be blocking the cpanel and WHM access? My datacenter has gone home for the evening and its gonna be a long frustrating night for me waiting for them to come in in the morning for me to yell at them. So I would like to just get it fixed and move on. Anyway... I know move datacenters... I plan on doing this sometime this month. But for now I need to make this work and retrieve my backups off of it... which will be a whole nother story... but I think I can get through that without help... I hope ;)

And here is what I have in mind. I think it might have something to do with the iptables. Now that would be great if only I knew how to check? So if that is what you think please give me a rundown of how to check it. Thanks :)

I have to type iptables -F every time server restarts in order to get WHM run. How can I avoid that?

Is there a way to add a rule to iptables to allow access without having to resort to flushing iptables with

iptables -F
