It's too coincidental that when I decided to switch back to version 10, that none of my customers are receiving email.

I've rebooted the server, restarted exim and pop, to no luck. Any help out there?

    Check your /var/log/exim_mainlog

Do you see any type of errors or perl errors at all?

I had 2 perl errors in my WHM update the night the control panel software updated.

    This is from the exim_mainlog:

I would force an update of exim; I got the same errors when downgrading from cPanel 11:

    /scripts/eximup --force

That did the trick for me.

... also, if you have mailscanner running, run this:

    /scripts/mailscannerupdate

    after you update exim.

Really hope this helps you out because not being able to send or receive email is costly!

We will release an updated 10.9 tonight that is aware of the 11.x mail config and will downgrade gracefully.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this before the update is available?

Thanks all. I managed to kiss enough butt to not lose the customer who was freaking out. The force update of exim seemed to do the trick.

Excellent... glad to hear the force did it.

    /scripts/eximup --force fixed similar issues.
