    Cpanel manages to change a lot of things. Now I can't even login to root via su! It says;

    Password:
    su: incorrect password

    Luckily I still have a root terminal still running. I tried passwd to change it to a new passwd but su still won't let me login with the new password! Please, how do i fix this

    Login to your WHM and go to the section for the Wheel Group (allow su).. you will need to add the user priveleges there I think. ;)

    you must have forgotten

    your root password. CPanel doesn't change that. My root password is the same after installing CPanel. No problems.
