    Hi,
One of our users gets the error "ajax error: try again" regardless of the password he enters or the computer/OS/ browser he uses. It works fine for me. Are there any possible issues on user end causing this? Have any of you had such a problem before?

    Hello :)

Could you be more specific on where the user receives this error message? Please check the cPanel error log if this happens when the user accesses cPanel. The cPanel error log is located at:

    # /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log

    Thank you.

    Hi Michael,
Thank you for replying. I forgot to write that it happens trying to add a database user and nothing specific is logged in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log. This is all the entries in this while:

[2012-12-26 11:17:14 -0500] info [mysqladmin] Creating MySQL database mainuser_db1 for user mainuser
[2012-12-26 11:23:19 -0500] warn [mysql::adddb] Encountered error in mysql::adddb: That database name already exists.
[2012-12-26 11:23:33 -0500] warn [mysql::adddb] Encountered error in mysql::adddb: That database name already exists.
[2012-12-26 11:24:32 -0500] info [mysqladmin] Dropping MySQL database mainuser_db2 for user mainuser
[2012-12-26 11:24:51 -0500] info [mysqladmin] Remove dbuser mainuser_user1 for owner mainuser

[2012-12-26 12:44:56 -0500] info [mysqladmin] Creating MySQL database mainuser_db3 for user mainuser

I tried adding mainuser_test which was successfully added as it shows.
    Thanks again.

I was wondering if it'd be possible to except an account from default "Password Strength Configuration"?

    Hello :)

Are you using the X3 theme? If so, you may want to try running the following command to update cPanel to see if that helps with the AJAX error message:

    Code:
    # /scripts/upcp --force
Could you be more specific regarding the "Password Strength Configuration" question? We should separate it into a new thread if it's not related to this issue.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion Michael, it worked on another server with latest version of cPanel.
