    Urgent!

I copied 500 accounts form another server and it added this in every dns zone and now none of the zones will load:
    %nameserverentry%. IN A %nameservera%
    %nameserverentry2%. IN A %nameservera2%
    %nameserverentry3%. IN A %nameservera3%
    %nameserverentry4%. IN A %nameservera4%

    All sites are down.

HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN!!!! I am running the stable version THE STABLE VERSION!!!!!!

Please give me a fix for this so I dont lose any more business than I already have.

    Thanks

For emergency issues, such as would seem to be the case here, I'd recommend contacting cPanel support.

Check your DNS zone templates and make sure they're setup correctly. You might have to run the replace command for the DNS zones.

    Login to your WHM

DNS Functions > Edit Zone Templates >
    standardvirtualftp
    standard
    simple

Click every one and remove/delete :

    PHP:
    %nameserverentry%. IN A %nameservera%
    %
    nameserverentry2%. IN A %nameservera2%
    %
    nameserverentry3%. IN A %nameservera3%
    %
    nameserverentry4%. IN A %nameservera4%
    no need to restart bind/named
You shuld not have any problem adding new account now.

    for current accounts:
    Login to your WHM

DNS Functions > Edit DNS Zone
Chose a domain > click Edit
    Remove/Delete all 4 junk below:
    PHP:
    %nameserverentry%. IN A %nameservera%
    %
    nameserverentry2%. IN A %nameservera2%
    %
    nameserverentry3%. IN A %nameservera3%
    %
    nameserverentry4%. IN A %nameservera4%
BUT how to update all current if you have 200 or 500 domains? :D

    Goodluck everyone
