Help. I set my server to backup and I think I accidentally set it to back up to the current directory and it renamed all my files by adding .gz extension. All my sites are down now b/c of no index file. Please help me in restoring. Thanks.

I did the backup from cPanel backup section for daily.

    Sites Down

    Hello,

Please submit a ticket so we can get your sites back up quickly, and we may need to logon to the server to get additional information. There is a link at the bottom of the page. In the future if you have something urgent it is best to put in a ticket. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thank you,
    Matthew Curry

    Thanks

i did some research and it did the trick. All the files were zipped.

So i recursively ran through home directory and unzipped all the files

    gunzip -r -f home/.

    Thanks.
