    Hi,

I keep getting this error with all the accounts I create. None of them are resolving when setting the dns to ns1.xxxxxx.com and ns2.xxxxx.com

The server can not find the requested page:

    xxx.xxx.xx.xx/~username/ (port 80)

Please forward this error screen to xxx.xxx.xx.xx's webmaster.

    What am I doing wrong?

I would be so grateful for help.

    I am a newbie at this. :(:(:(

    Thanks

After setting the nameservers for the domain, you'd want to access it by the domain name. If you want to access the account the way you've posted, check your settings in Security Center in WHM.

    thank you

    Infopro,

Thank you so much for responding. It works now .. except, the 2 sites are not propagating. What is your opinion? Will it take a little longer because I just updated the "Tweak mod_userdir Security"?

    Again, thank you!

If the nameservers are setup correctly, on the server AND at the domain name registrar it should work. If not, you might want to ask your host to take a look.

if you cant access any of your accounts via a browser with the syntax

    http://xxx.xxx.xx.xx/~username/

then the issue is not with DNS. If you are only having a problem with the syntax:

    http://DOMAIN.com/~username

then yea the problem would be DNS related. I would do direct queries to your IP with dig to make sure that named is working as it should and go from there.
