    Rebooted server and apache and all servics are up. Yet, no sites are showing and server load is normal.

    I did chmod 1777 /tmp and restarted httpd (no errors), sites still not showing up
    Ran fixbuggynamed, fixnamed and restarted bind. Same issue.

    Ran /etc/init.d/ipaliases start for sake of it as well.

    I am able to get into whm fine and status is all green

    httpd configtest shows syntax ok

    http://ipaddress/~username/ works fine, but not domain.com

    root@server [~]# /scripts/restartsrv_named
    Starting named: [ OK ]
    root@server [~]# /scripts/fixndc
    Starting named: [ OK ]
    root@server [~]# /scripts/fixndc
    Starting named: [ OK ]
    root@server [~]# /scripts/firxndc
    -bash: /scripts/firxndc: No such file or directory
    root@server [~]# /scripts/fixrndc
    Starting named: [ OK ]

    I tailed log messages and seen a lot of this after I ran the above commands

    Jul 7 08:44:05 server named[30722]: zone ns1.variousclients.com/IN: loaded serial 2005121301
    Jul 7 08:44:05 server modprobe: FATAL: Module ip_tables not found.

    Jul 7 08:44:09 server named[30722]: zone variousclients.com/IN: loaded serial 2006070600
    Jul 7 08:44:09 server modprobe: FATAL: Module ip_tables not found.

    In WHM, go to IP Functions >> Show or Delete Current IP Addresses....

    Are your listed IP addresses present? Are they red or green?

    If red, make a list of your IP addresses, delete them each and readd them.

    Did you reboot with a new kernel? It looks like your kernel does not have ip_tables module installed.

    Try going to dnsreport.com and see what it says for one of the domains, it may give more of an indication.

    Been using this kernal for a while as far as I know

    Linux server4.host.com 2.6.16.1 #1 SMP Tue Apr 4 22:44:22 CDT 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

    I changed grub default to #1 for now, but before I reboot is this ok or do you know of a quicker
    solution/

    #boot=/dev/sda
    default=1
    timeout=5
    splashimage=(hd0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
    hiddenmenu
    title CentOS (2.6.16.1)
    root (hd0,0)
    kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.16.1 ro root=LABEL=/ selinux=0
    initrd /initrd-2.6.16.1.img
    title CentOS (2.6.9-34.ELsmp)
    root (hd0,0)
    kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.9-34.ELsmp ro root=LABEL=/ selinux=0
    initrd /initrd-2.6.9-34.ELsmp.img

    Means your named service is loading:

    Jul 7 08:44:05 server named[30722]: zone ns1.variousclients.com/IN: loaded serial 2005121301
    Jul 7 08:44:05 server modprobe: FATAL: Module ip_tables not found.

    Without named no URLs will work, let it finish loading then try them. However the ip_tables module should be found..

    What about running /scripts/restartsrv_named?

    it hangs there for minutes (so far) and same for apf -r or apf -s

    Plus is the below normal?

    root@server4 [~]# /scripts/fixndc
    Starting named: [ OK ]

    Since when does it show "starting named..ok" on fixndc command?
