    Hello,

    i witnessed an unpleasant thing.

    i have domain domain.com

and it has ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com on which are pointed client domains.

But the "domain.com" website is NOT hosted on my WHM/cpanel server, its hosted with third party company on their cpanel server.

TODAY, that thirdparty server went offline, causing all sites stop resolving (being offline). Why?

because an A record pointing ns1 and ns2 to my own WHM server IP was unavailable..

Do you have idea on what is the best solution to prevent this while still hosting my "domain.com" website on third party server and still leaving ns1 and ns2 at "domain.com" ? thx

    Hello :)

Some customers prefer to increase redundancy by setting up a DNS cluster with multiple name servers. The following document explains how you would set this up:

    Guide to DNS Clustering

    Thank you.
