allocating second hard drive space to cpanel account

    Is there a way to allocate a specific amount of disk space ona second hard drive to an individual cpanel account?

    IS this possible? Any threads to read? Coun't find searching on my own.

    The only way you'd be able to do that would be to manually symlink directories within the account to the other disk. It would seem simpler to just move the whole account to the other disk.

    Thanks chirpy,

    do you know if quotas are still maintained wtih a symbolic link to a folder on another drive?

    it works great btw, i did have to make sure the user had ownership over the folder on the second harddrive folder, but that was easy to figure out.

    The quotas should be maintained, IIRC.
