Hi,

i ssh to the server to check the /var/log/messages,

and i get a lot of messages like this

__cpanel__service__auth__ftpd__OFcYq5WP1xpGgeAmxXWMPJVk39G7g9dIbhYhh
QsRhMTmiqjYHEw4VGYpZjzqqMs4 is now logged in

I think this is normall... but i also would like to disable it since it just floods the log file.

This is the chkservd monitoring service in cPanel 11.24.4 As part of the monitoring chkservd performs a test login to your FTP service ( and also your IMAP and POP services).
