Hi

We've been using alt-php with php-selector on our server for a long time, but recently the load average of the server has gone up and after investigation, we found out that the ea-php is being called by the webserver to run websites. Even though multi-php is disabled in feature-manager for clients, but it is still being used to run websites on the server and for some reasons it causes high CPU load.
We've talked to CloudLinux people but they didn't give us a straight answer and only said that this is not possible to deactivate ea-php in your server!
Now my question is how can we stop ea-php from being used by websites? (/opt/cpanel/ea-php56/root/usr/bin/php-cgi)

Hi @moolideejay

You can't disable MultiPHP but you can use altphp as an alternate if you have it correctly configured. Where are you seeing that your sites are using ea-php rather than alt-php?
