I have been using Front Page 2000 and Microsoft Expression Web for many years. But I am not really that knowledgeable when it comes to how things work.

Earlier this week I noticed that I can no longer upload sites using Front Page extensions. After contacting my web host and reading this forum, I learned that for various reasons cPanel is no longer supporting those extensions.

My questions are:

What alternative methods exist to upload sites?

Is Microsoft Expression Web useless from now on?

What kind of combinations (design and upload) are people using?

Any help will be appreciated - I am distressed as I just found out about this problem, and have to make changes on my sites.

Thank you,

Hello :)

Microsoft no longer develops FrontPage or Microsoft Expression Web. It's better to use an alternative to avoid potential conflicts and lack of support. Many users edit their website locally and then simply upload the files via a FTP client such as FileZilla. Uploading a website is rather easy, so finding a local website editor may be the best route to take.

Thank you.
