    Hi all,

Today I faced an issue with the error

[an error occurred while processing this directive] on the cpanel's add account page.

When tail -f /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log on the server. I got

Now, here is the fix I found after hours of hairloss.

ls /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/ftp (since I got the error at ftp page)

    cp addftp.html addftp.html.bak
    vi addftp.html
    delete the line with "FTPHint3"

    and then,

    cp accounts.html accounts.html.bak
    vi accounts.html
delete the lines with "FTPHint1" and "FTPHint2"

chown both the files to what you had perviously.

Check this out. It really worked for me :)

    See ya
