Hey there! I'm sorry to hear about the issues with MySQL. If you run this command on your server

Code:
mysql --version
Does that give you any output?

Can you also send the output of this command?

Code:
grep -i mysql /var/cpanel/cpanel.config

This is the first:
Code:
[root@server ~]# mysql --version
mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.5.14-MariaDB, for Linux (x86_64) using readline 5.1
this the second output:
Code:
[root@server ~]# grep -i mysql /var/cpanel/cpanel.config
mysql-host=localhost
mysql-version=10.5
usemysqloldpass=0
please is must be quick, all this time my site is down, and i am nervous i lose the Data i have in the database ( i sure i am not, i see my user and my website database throw ssh:
cd /var/lib/mysql )

I was thinking is this because are VMs on Google Cloud:

but its impossible, i chack the "backup" folder its before 4 mounts... and not from the day of the problem ( yesterday )
I turn off the script ( only check if it is will improve ):

systemctl disable cpinit.service

but not, interface of "WHM > MySQL/MariaDB Upgrade" NOT WORKING!

What start this isiue was a warning email from cron / Anacron about MariaDB105 RepoXML:
Code:
Anacron <[email protected]>
11:07 AM (1 hour ago)

to root

/etc/cron.daily/0yum-daily.cron:

Not using downloaded MariaDB105/repomd.xml because it is older than what we have:
Current : Tue Feb 8 09:21:08 2022
  Downloaded: Tue Nov 9 22:27:39 2021
This started a couple of days/week ago from your last update of cPanel.
It's on 2 different servers located in different places in the world.
( Only prof my problem is not coming from the server and from an update - not make sense 2 different servers will get the same errors from the latest Cpanel update ).

I hope all this information is helpful.
Please i need help fast, i am not getting jobs right now because everything shut down with this issue.

I attached a screenshot of both of the servers together, and the UI inside WHM with the FATAL error.
hope its will help to help me :)

I tried to reinstall MariaDB105 with:
yum reinstall MariaDB105

but it didn't fix the issue.

I still didn't try your commend. i am afraid to make duplication
( maybe need to specify the version on the command line you provide me? or this automagically? )

want to be sure with you before we process this command line.
Please confirm me, and i will run the command line:

yum install MariaDB-server

BUT WE MUST BE SURE IT WILL NOT DOWNGRADE OR DUPLICATE THE REPO'S.
PLEASE ONLY CONFIRM ME IT WILL NOT DUPLICATE I WILL RUN IT AND FIX EVERYTHING, BUT WE MUST BE SURE. ( RESULT CAN BE DISASTER IF IT DUPLICATED )

I appreciate the fast response really you are an angel cPRex.

A properly working system should have the following packages: (please note this is for MariaDB 10.5, so the exact version numbers may not match your machine)

Code:
# rpm -qa | grep -i maria
MariaDB-devel-10.5.13-1.el7.centos.x86_64
MariaDB-compat-10.5.13-1.el7.centos.x86_64
MariaDB-client-10.5.13-1.el7.centos.x86_64
MariaDB-shared-10.5.13-1.el7.centos.x86_64
MariaDB-common-10.5.13-1.el7.centos.x86_64
cpanel-mariadb-connector-3.1.8-1.cp1198.x86_64
MariaDB-server-10.5.13-1.el7.centos.x86_64
It seems like you are missing the MariaDB-server package, and the previous Yum command I provided - "yum install MariaDB-server" will take care of that.

I haven't seen any other reports of this issue at this time so I'm not aware of this being a widespread issue.

Can you try that install to see if that gets things working?
