ANN: cPanel Proxy - for people behind strict firewalls

    anyone having issues (not being able to send attachment = file is 0 bytes when sent) with horde using cpanel proxy?

    Sorry. Can't helpy you there. Our system only has Webmail and Squirellmail. Horde has been disabled. Maybe try one of the other webmail interfaces.

    neomail is working, it'S just that horde doesnt send attachm. :)

    I am not much of a guru with php but hopefully someone with knowledge will provide a fix for you. In the meantime, I would suggest using another webmail interface that is working for you. You might try to shoot an email to the author of cPanelProxy. :D

    just asking for help to modified to work in cpanelproxy only..

    Hey Anand,

    Couldn't there be a easier way of having it globally in httpd.conf
    using

    ModRewrite [P] redirect.

    and having mod_proxy compiled in.

    No experience with complex Rewrite Rules so just wondering

    Horde forces your fully-qualified domain name on the upload, so it's no longer going through the proxy. End result if you can't access the webmail ports is a upload failure. IT's the way Horde is written, not really a bug in the proxy script.

    ok, it's not really a problem, a customer who is not able to open few ports in their firewall should at least use neomail if they really need to send attachments.

    cpanleproxy is a very good script. a lifesaver. :)
